I have been researching my husband's family and would be interested in any information about the McNicol family who live and worked in and around Reay - at Sandside and Shurrery. I have visited numerous graveyard and burial grounds and found several family members but due to common family christian names I am having some problems!
I have also been researching my own family and would be interested in sharing information with anyone who has knowledge of either the Henderson family from Bower (Acharole?) or the Campbell family who owned the Crown Hotel in the early years of last century. My grandfather was James Sutherland Henderson, born October 1900 and my grandmother was Elizabeth Houston Campbell, born June 1906.
