On one of the banners, I keep getting a message that, 'Someone Wants to Rebound with Me;' or 'Three People Have Unfriended You.' I'm urged to click to find out who? Needless to say, I won't. Is this message common to all, or is it just me? Surely not!

Right now the banner says "Two friends say they would rebound with you"

My banner is about monster beds, but I have been googling beds recently.

I see no banner. I have Adblock installed.

I've checked this out with my computer whizz son and he says that it's probably come from Facebook, which is weird really, because I'm not a member. :D

Many of us are experiencing the message, 'three people have unfriended you, click here to find out who they are,' on one of the Org banners, Yw. Perhaps you have a blocking system, similar to Flynn's 'Adblock,' and aren't seeing them? Hope that clarifies the mystery. :)

Nothing to do with facebook (well they seem to be on there but the ad is nothing to do with it). Just some rubbish ad offering (probably through google adsense or similar), at the least some intrusive software. I find it funny they allow such ads as these, especially when there is a scam warning in the Doanalsins diary section. At least it is better than half naked ladies looking for dates in my local area though. Oh yeah, the site apparently have no control over the ads though, silly me.

And yes I use adblock but sometimes I am on a computer without adblock, or I have it disabled for some reason.

Seriously. Adblock is your friend. Depending on your browser there is Adblock for Firefox, Chrome, Safari etc. It's one of the best plug-ins I've ever got. Hardly any annoying ads on any website.

Google 'Adblock' or 'Adblock plus'.

Wow! I've just installed Adblock .... it only took a minute, was uncomplicated and worked instantly. No more "unfriending, or rebounding," for me. Thanks for the tip Flynn.

Speaking of FaceBook, I really regret signing up to it well over a year ago !!:(

I have tried to discontinue my account, but for some reason I keep "popping up" again - can anyone tell me how to delete my account on FB, PERMANENTLY !

How do I permanently delete my account?
If you deactivate (http://www.facebook.com/help/214376678584711) your account, your timeline disappears from the Facebook service immediately. People on Facebook won't be able to search for you, though some info, like messages you sent, may still be visible to others. We also save your timeline information (ex: friends, photos, interests, etc.) in case you want to come back (http://www.facebook.com/help/212666185422169).
If you don't think you'll use Facebook again, you can request to have your account permanently deleted. Please keep in mind that you won't be able to reactivate your account or retrieve anything you've added. Before you do this, you may want to download a copy of your info (http://www.facebook.com/help/212802592074644) from Facebook. Then, if you'd like your account permanently deleted with no option for recovery, log into your account and fill out this form (http://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account).
If you can't log in to your account, you'll need to reset your password first. To do this, go to www.facebook.com (http://www.facebook.com) and click the Forgot your password? link below the password field. Once you’ve followed the instructions to reset your password and can log into your account, you can deactivate or delete your account using the steps outlined above.
