And it's a lot faster than dial-up. Worth waiting for. I reckon it's 3 to 4 times faster than before, even on 512K rather than 1024. Great to be able to use the internet as well as the phone too! Well done to everyone that's been promoting broadband!! :D

Which ISP did you go for.

check your speed on www.adslguide.org.uk to make sure the speed is what it should be. click on "speed test"

Wanadoo (formerly Freeserve). I had a dial-up account for some time previously. I find them pretty reliable other than a tendency to 'drop out' every hour or so. With broadband reconnection is pretty quick though.
