A Simple Good Idea

I just came across this simple but good idea and the best thing is works. Do you know of any other good but simple ideas like this?

All you need to do is cut off the top of the bottle and take off the cap. Push the bag through the bottle neck, fold it over the edges, and twist the cap back on. Now, your bag has an air and water tight seal, and you didn't have to waste the bag.

This is one I've been meaning to use but haven't got around to it yet!

Buy a mesh laundry bag for each person in the house and hang it on their bedroom door handle. They put their dirty socks in it every day then, when you're ready to put them in the wash, just zip up each bag and wash/tumble dry the whole lot. When you come to sort your laundry, each person's socks are already sorted and there are no missing socks! Hurrah :)
