After much manipulation and cohersion that children can wield...we now have 2 dwarf russian hamsters to bridge the gap that poor Cheddar left...
Cheddar was the most loving and unassuming hamster going, surviving an injury most would die from...even the vets wrote him off at the time, to regain a near full recovery....minus a few extremedies...no external ears etc....and was old as hammies go but was taken before his time.
He finally saw his maker....and had a full burial funeral in the garden.
And we now have Sugar and Spice as new members of the family and they are speedy compared to Cheddar ....but are friendly so far so hopeful that fingers wont be nipped!
Wonder where PAH get their hammies from as this lot/litter seem overfriendly compared with other litters we encountered on past encounters....sabre toothed hammie anyone?
