What would we lose if Wick were to secede from the Wick-Pulteneytown Union? Precious little methinks.

We have the airport, the best streets, the banks, most of the shops, and most of all we'd have the Camps, the Crown and that Spoonies place. With our superior strength (and money), we could take (and hold) useful nearby places like Caithness General, Mackay's, the railway station, and even the camp site. :cool:

We'd build the new High School next to the airport. We'd be rid of the loonies fae Lybster for good. :cool:

We could even consider a confederation with the Teanabowlies for extra added value. Well, maybe that's going a bit far for the first phase....

We'd need to ensure that a flanking maneuvre to the south-east took control of the trinkies....need to watch out for the Cairn Dhuna and Kennedy counter-attack though...might prove costly if we weren't properly immersed err i mean entrenched...

I am keeping a low but essentially Machiavellian profile. Whilst everyone else is engaging in the fight to secede from Wick, the UK or whatever, I am studying to be an international lawyer. The amount of cash to be earned from other peoples' vanities, pomp and chest-beating over "independence" is beyond dreams! This time next year I shall be a millionaire. All those claims and counter claims! all that misplaced pride in something that never existed, doesn't exist, and won't exist in the future! In the meantime, I can only add to the flames by coming out in full support of Pulteneytown. Anywhere with a distillery beats anywhere else on the planet.

Border checkpoint, machine gun nests, landmines and dog poo (plenty of that around) would deter even the most daring of the pulteney peeps. Of course, Visiting rights could be arranged for a fat fee (and by bribing of the gate guard with a crate of old pulteney), likewise the income that could be made by "safely escorting" refugees to the airport would make Wick a very wealthy state indeed!
