Any ideas of anyone who can help??

Times like these a good car thief would be handy!

Do you have breakdown cover, ie RAC or AA. If you do then give them a call. If not contact the dealer garage for the model of car that you have. Failing that the Police. That is all I can think of, hope it helps.

In Lewis there is a locksmith who is fantastic will get into any vehicle or house!

Try local garage/tyre service place, police station, they can work wonders.

Now you will get another key - for emergencies like this!

Go to your car dealer, give them the details of car and you can get new keys cut. It will take a couple of weeks.

happen to know that the guy in Keiss Garage has a kit to open car doors.
he has an inflatable type ball thats sqeezed into the top of the door and a selection of thin rods you insert to open the handle.
if the keys are on the seat or somewhere seen it s easy . hope this helps.... anyway good luck .

Easy, use something to pry the door ever so slightly open-wooden wedge etc then get some of that parcel/pallet plastic type wrapping stuff and double it to form a loop-its about half inch wide. Slip into the small opening in the door and hook over the end of the door lock, pull up-bingo.

My partner locked the keys in the car. Called the AA & a man from Castletown came out & retrieved them by means of a wooden wedge to prise the door open slightly, an inflatable balloon thingy to hold it open & then a long bit of stiff wire to hook them out...

Needless to say, we now have a spare key cut by Timpsons In Inverness.
