Flynn, then you chose the wrong one.. Popes and cardinals make people believe in fairy tales, they don't believe them themselves ;)

To reply to the OP... I've no idea who I would choose from Caithness...

First Pope from Caithness.

Well I think if this is the case then there should also be another first as the next Pope from Caithness should be Female.

So I think the best person to put the Vatican straight and in Order would be...........Tugmistress........She would sort them all out. :Razz

Caithness has more MOPE's than POPE's

It has to be gleeber. He has the spark that lit the universe, which makes him closer to God than anyone else in the County.

Noel Donaldson, Isn't he high and mighty?

Noel doesn't have gleeber's spark. There is no contest.

He may no longer be in Caithness but I would vote for John Little from the org as he would bring some much needed respectability to the post.

Good suggestion. Are you reading this, John?

Nevertheless, gleeber remains my top candidate because he has the spark that started the Universe.

I was thinking, "Who is unchristian enough to do that job?"

M Swanson

 Well, sounds like you're the ideal candidate, Flynn. Congratulations, the job's yours! :D

Just being unchristian is not enough... you have to be an unchristian Christian & judging by the lack of compassion (isn't that a core Christian value?) you have shown on other threads along with your blind faith in God that you have also shown on other threads, I'd say you must be the ideal candidate...

Someone here must know the Pope. Red cheeks, yellow hair. Probably grey now.

I'm not particularly au fait with Castletown worthies or their nicknames. I pass wind there less that once a year on average.

I'm better at sons of downhill skiers in Week.

There's never been a Scottish Pope - until now. Gleeber/Francis is the first.

There was one English Pope several hundred years ago. Tony Blair is favourite to become the second - except that he's Scottish, despite sometimes claiming to be English....
