hi my mums having problems with aol red light on router any1 else having problems ?

I've had call-outs to 7 different customers last week so almost certainly the same problem if she's in the Thurso exchange. TalkTalk / AOL & Tiscali (all part of the same group) broadband passwords (and some usernames) were changed during the recent unbundling of the exchange.

To resolve it she'll need to call, from her landline, 0844 499 5555 and go through the menu system to AOL technical support, there she will get the option to retrieve her username (0184789xxxx@dialbb.com) & new password (a series of 10 alternating letters & numbers). Then she'll need to go into the router settings & type in the changed details before the router will re-connect. If there's any issue send me a PM.
