Just a heads up - Royal Mail is "considering" introducing fuel surcharging to business accounts from April 2013:

If they go ahead, it means they'll be able to charge businesses more for delivering to Highlands and Islands, the same way courier companies do.
The reason I've put considering in quotation marks above is that I have a Royal Mail business account and they've already updated the software to include a Surcharge column...... This year's contract prices will be announced at the beginning of March, so I guess we'll find out then just how much we're going to get stung for. In the meantime, if you want anything sending up, I would suggest getting it sent before 1st April.
