Just curious, maybe it is a subject broached before I joined but there is no section for local sports? Did there used to be and it got shutdown because of football arguments. Or is there one and I overlooked? I used to be involved in Bowling leagues, Caithness Darts, Football and all sorts but there is no area for publicising it or displaying results or anything? Is this something that would be considered or was it a plan previously ditched? It would be nice to keep up with local sports on the org forums.

Might be a good idea for people wanting to organise freindly sports events to discuss it on such a board!

i dont think theres any reason why local sports cant be covered, but it seems that every time footy get on here it end up an excuse for rangers/celtic slagging match - i have no probs with wick - brora - halkirk footy being talked about or the rugby -

if it were described as a forum for local sports announcements and discussion then any convo about SPL could be deleted no?

sorry should have included Thurso footy in there as well - that includes the 7's - kids footy - kids footy - rugby - pool -darts- ANYTHING
all sports should be welcome - just keep the religion side well out of things
