how can i block someone that not a friend sending messages to my daughter, but message from this person has come up in her chat box, any chat come through my phone as well as her site so i can keep a eye on things but i want to block this person thanks in advance

I know you can report a person on Facebook if its harassment

Aside from that it should be in settings where you manage your privacy etc,

not an expert on fb but if on pc and on right hand side of blue bar that runs along top - has "find friends" home and then a little padlock - if u select the padlock for 'privacy shortcuts' u should be able to select who can message you etc.
I could be wrong as not an expert but i would think this has some effect that your after.

thanks have reported it to facebook and will look in privacy bit

go on their profile and at the side it says add as a friend theres a wee star astrix thingy click on it and click block
