View Full Version : Are you male or female (in real life)?

secrets in symmetry

As someone who assumed that an oddquine must be a bloke, and that anyone called cptdodger is obviously male, I think I need some help....

This is (supposed to be) an open poll - in the sense that anyone can see your "vote"...

This is my second attempt at this poll. The first one didn't show who had voted. Apologies to those who voted in the previous version.

Where's the option for 'hermaphrodite'?

Where's the option for 'hermaphrodite'?I'm afraid your pollster didn't know the difference between transgender and hermaphrodite until he looked it up. (Evidently, transgender doesn't include hermaphrodite.)

Quite so. So are you going to change it ?No - if only because I can't see who's voted for which option.

It was ok when alrock alone had voted, but the names of the voters vanished when I voted.

I give up....

I have just voted, and I am female in real life, but you are quite right about the cptdodger, my email address seemingly is not good enough for this forum, so, as my partner already had this account set up, I just use his, it was not to deceive anyone !!

Well, I've voted, but darned if I know why? I never had any problem identifying the sex of OQ, or Cpt, not that it matters anyway. Anybody can be who they choose to be on Forums. Can't they SiS?

Thanks Alrock.

I am having a bad night, I realise now that I need to click on the number of votes to see who voted.

Well a few suprises in there for me! Lol

I assumed Moira was female.......

I was born a female but I took the decision in my twenties to go all out male. I'm still in touch with my feminine side.

I voted transgender because my sex is nothing to do with anyone. As is the fact I'm not getting any either. :-(

 Nor me, Jox. But at my age, I'd rather eat a bacon sandwich anyway. Be lucky! :D

Just to let you know it was a major thing for me to vote in this poll. Was actually expecting ridicule or some derogatory remark. Just goes to show how wonderful and friendly the orgers and the people of Caithness are...

Angel... i think all us on here are pretty open minded Angel and it shouldn't matter what gender we are. All that matters is the person inside

Which part of the combination of Odd and quine wouldn't indicate both my mindset and gender to anybody who knew anything at all about Scottish Dialect outside Caithness...or could use Google? A username like secrets in symmetry is designed to be a lot more ambiguous!

Out of interest, just what difference does the gender of a person have to do with their opinions in a discussion forum? Easist way, I have found, if talking about posters is to use he/she (which would cover any option depending on how posters perceived themselves).

Another pointless thread from you, I fear!

There are a few whose gender I was wrong about. Perhaps I should bookmark the results of this poll as an important information resource!
