Want To Be A Stand-Up Comedian?

Fancy yourself as a stand-up comedian? If so, Caithness Castle Creations are organising a workshop (Sat 2 March) for 12 people to attend with a top Scottish comedian. Those in attendance will then be given the opportunity to take part in a competition showcase in both Wick (Fri 26 April) and Thurso (Sat 27 April) where the winning comic and runner-up from each town's showcase will be offered a support slot with top comedienne Barbara Nice (Phoenix Nights, That Peter Kay Thing, Coronation Street, etc), who will be performing in both Wick and Thurso in early May.It doesn't matter if you've no experience - just a willingness to get involved and show off your funny side. Caithness Castle Creations' Taster Comedy Workshop takes place at the Thurso East Gate Lodge this Saturday (2 Mar).

There's still a couple of places left for anyone interested in attending. It's a great opportunity to learn the basics in a relaxed, fun environment, without fear of being expected to be hilariously funny. So for anyone curious, don't be scared to express yourself - you'll really enjoy it :)
