The wind is rising and all ferries to the islands here cancelled - getting so I can hardly walk and this is before it is scheduled to get bad!

Have already secured as much as I can so hopefully will survive and hopefully little damage - scheduled they say for hurricane force winds.

Wheeliebins secured as do not want the dance of the wheelies down the road.

Tides are pretty high too, better get the dogs fed and walked before it gets desperate and really scarey.

Hi Pat ! Yes, it's been kinda stormy here too. Looking like it'll "settle" a wee bit over-night (Friday) though not by much :~( !!

We've had leaking windows recently due to the extremely strong Easterly winds with rain . . . NOT nice !!

It's due to regain wind strength over night though, albeit coming in from the South/West this time for a wee change, LOL !!

At the moment the wind over here appears to be coming from south easterly direction, wind has risen quite a lot since last posting and the start time for the real build up is scheduled from 6pm onwards.

Had to turn back with the dogs as trying to walk on path near beach getting really dangerous - getting sand blasted and blown into cemetery so turned back before their usual walk length, they were fairly happy at getting back into the warmth.

Hope you do not get too much damage and everyone is safe at the end.
