I opened the door this morning to a delivery of 12 carnations. There was no note with them, and I have no idea who they are from!

Did you send them?

Could it have been an End of the World present from Violet?

It must be Violet my old friend sending you some cheer at xmas. were they hand delivered or postie or even a bus speeding off into the distance?

They were delivered by postie.

Hope springs eternal in my search for violet - but why red carnations? Wouldn't violet ones be clearer?
