Theres an old story from Shetland about a sea eagle taking a baby from its pram. Heres a link, makes great reading, especially the eventual outcome.

Oh its definately true. Their descendents are still around and telling the story. You can trace them on bayanne, the Shetland genealogy website. Amazing vid Nicks. Makes the old story all the more believeable.

It's scary, but I doubt its particularly uncommon. In Africa there are a number of eagles that prey on monkey's, I am supprised we don't hear of it more.

luckily the boor wee bairns ok, he didn't drop from a great height and i think the eagle welfare come 2nd to the bairns ,my opinion you can have yours too .also if it dosent happen that often then no need to persicute them.

And no doubt there will be numerous stupid parents thinking eagles are going to eat their babys. :roll:
