School bus

I have been told several times of late that after Christmas many youngsters will have to pay to travel on the school bus. Is this correct? Can anyone out there shed some light on the matter.

I always thought they had to pay for the bus anyway...I used to have a bus pass.

My daughter has to pay from watten to oldhall, as she goes to thurso school and is outwith the catchment area.The letter i recieved home did sound like certain groups of children will have to pay if using rapsons buses.
Im sure that if you have to pay you would have had a letter by now, but am not sure.
If you use a rapsons bus give them a ring, they were very helpful.
