Hi folks ..I have a barometer of which the glass front is cracked Its about 6 inches diameter and round Does anyone know of anywhere in Caithness I could get a new glass fitted

You'd probably be best to try a jeweller/watchmaker as some of these deal with clocks too.

I had one that was broken and had new glass fitted by the Jewellers in Wick near the Butchers for a very reasonable price, it is still working very well!
