Thurso teen to stand trial next month
A THURSO teenager is to stand trial in Sutherland accused of making a threatening remark about Wick Sheriff Andrew Berry.
Paul Cannop of Holborn Avenue Thurso, is alleged to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner at the Wick court on April 12, this year.
The 18-year-old pleaded not guilty at Dornoch Sheriff Court, yesterday. The trial will be heard before Sheriff David Sutherland.
Solicitor Craig Wood advised the court that no witnesses will be called at the trial which will proceed on November 27.
Cannop was ordained to appear.
