On the way back from Thurso to Wick yesterday, I was greeted by the site of vehicles being turned round and sent back by the police just by the camster windfarm. Turns out that the pipes going up to subsea 7 got stuck trying to get passed the wind turbines going to camster. Could someone please explain if the wind turbine truck gets a police escort and the subsea 7 pipes have an escort vehicle, how they managed to get stuck, or is it just another one of those it could only happen here episodes.
