We just had our Santa Claus Parade, it snowed just in time for the occassion. It was so festive. Here is a link to a vid of it.

I think this would be a great idea for Wick. The gala is so wonderful in summertime, I'm sure people would love a parade in the winter too.

WOW! That sure looks like fun. Wonder why we dont do things like that. We do have santa going around the streets in a sledge ( car made to look like a sledge ) and the kids just love it but im sure they would like your event much better.Having the snow helps as well . jan x

I`m thinking of organising a FOOLS parade for Caithness. All Caithness councellors are invited to attend as they will more than likley :Razz be the recipiants of any awards going

Does the Rotary still do the thing where Santa goes round the streets on his sleigh and they hand out sweets to the kids? I don't remember it happening the last couple of years in Wick.
