Tatties

Hi a lot of my tatties were pretty badly deformed this year and the skins badly marked.Can anyone advise what caused this and what can be done about it.Seems soft skin ones were worst affected

I think the amount of rainfall affected the tattie crops this year. I used bags for the second year running and had 4 good crops wi
th no problems.

If the skin was badly marked they likely have scab.
I think this can be remedied by adding lime to the soil but a quick pole will tell you what you need to know :)
My crop was smaller but better quality this year, funny but I just don't think the weather was onside this year :/
