And what is preventing you from walking / driving to your local newsagent and buying one yourself ?

He cant afford a news paper and asks if someone on here would let him have theirs when they have finished with it. What is the problem with that ?

My Mum gets it every week. If she lived near you then I'd make sure you got it. It's a reasonable request - if you don't ask then you don't get.

What an individual can afford is, I know, relative but if you saved 20p a day that would cover the cost (or near enough). Expecting someone to buy and then deliver the paper to you is a bit cheeky.;)

nothing wrong with asking for a paper and it would be like recycling but if u cant get one then go to the libary and read papers there every day for free
