Academy's game of two halves....two goals in each
THE Scorries continued their amazing home run with an emphatic win over the Broch.
Things augured well for Academy, hitting the post in the opening minute. But they flattered to deceive and it wasn't until well into the first period that they found the net through Gary Manson. Gary Weir made it 2-0 before the break.
Fraserburgh failed to capitalise on recurring bad passing by the homsters but got back into the game courtesy of Scott Barber. Any hopes of salvaging a point were dashed when Richard Macadie hit the third and substitute Jamie Pickles notched up his second goal for his new club, putting the three points well and truly in the bag.
