Airline Charges on their cheap fares.

It is interesting to note the cost of taxes ect. added to special cheap fares from Inverness does anyone know how the airlines make them up. Or is it extra profit for them.

Easyjet Taxes £17

BMI Taxes £46.50

BA Connet Taxes £43.90

Ryanair Taxes £36.35

Flybe Taxes £46.50

FYI..... Taxes and fuel surcharges from Toronto to Inverness and return, via London Heathrow on Air Can and BMI., is now approx $300.00 i.e. 150 pounds.
Different ways to calculate it by different airlines, but it all adds up to the same thing...posted fares are not the real bottom line! sr
