Just got back from watching a brilliant production of Oliver by Thurso Players.
Who needs the West End when we have such a talented group in our midst?
Everyone involved actors, singers, musicians, set designers, wardrobe, lighting, props, director, producer, choreographers, sound and all those back stage wizards (and the dog) are to be congratulated on a superb piece of entertainment.
The action flowed. There was someone to watch or sets to admire every second of the time.
It was obvious that those on stage thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it came through in their performances.
WELL DONE EVERYONE. Thank you.

They seem to be very busy at the moment, panto rehearsals start very soon (this week) .
Will hopefully manage to get a babysitter for my youngest (as he wont sit for that long) to see the panto this year (but my chances look very slim!) as its usually a laugh.

Thurso Players always were very good - which is a tough thing for a biy from the east of the county to say lol!

How did they do Nancy's demise? That was always my favourite part of the book. Dickens failed miserably in making me feel sorry for the wee thieving tart as she met her sorry end.
