Sheriff sentences Reilly to three years for art-and-part attacks

A THURSO man was today jailed for three years at Wick Sheriff Court today for a series of attacks, two of which involved the use of a hammer.
Jason James Reilly appeared from custody and pleaded guilty, on indictment, to four assaults which occurred on May 4. Three of the incidents occurred at an address in St John’s House, Thurso and the remaining offence at Naver Park in the town.
The court was told that Reilly (25) had not played the leading role in the incidents but it was accepted he was guilty art-and-part.
Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood said however that Reilly, described as a prisoner at Inverness prison, had decided to go along with the attacks and must bear the consequences.
