Court appearance after arrest on warrant
A NORTH driver has admitted driving while disqualified and will be sentenced next month.
James Beresford, 24, of The Smithy, Achscrabster, Glengolly, also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, when he appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court, today. The offences occurred on the Achscrabster-Thurso road, on March 28.
Beresford, who has a record, was the subject of an arrest warrant after he failed to appear on June 7.
He was granted bail and will return to court on September 24 when Sheriff Andrew Berry will see a background report on the accused.
