Golach, you can do whatever you wish, although i wouldn't expect a warm greeting from our supporters. There is a bus leaving from Wick if you are interested, the cost of which to anti-independence supporters will be £100.00 no return. The drop off point will be Edinburgh bus terminal, bound for another 300 years of austerity and oppression from a London based Westmidden government. Please email wick@independenceforscotland.com if this is something which you find interesting.

I will not bother to take you up on your seat on the bus offer, I live here already, so may come and give you some shouts of encouragement, my bus pass is free [lol]

And with that attitude you are going to get people flocking to join your "cause".

We have over 30 buses and thousands of people attending. If you can't take a bit of banterous humour then i suggest you don't participate in the comments. Quite clearly Golach seemed to take my humour with a pinch of salt with his return comment. ;)

Wow! And us Nationalists get accused of racism. Take note people, anti-independence supporters seem to be the worst of the lot, as per above comment. Print screen and off to the press with this one i think :D

We are going - All of us including the babies.....Golach you come march with us... I dont care if you are wearing your NO Tshirt and as my hubby will be wearing chainmail and dressed like Robert the Bruce I think you will be safe - under the kings protection! After all Thomas Randolph once fought for Longshanks but became one of the Bruce's trusted advisers - He even became Regent after the death of the Bruce - we will be delighted to walk with you Golach.

It looks like this march will be good fun there are facepainters for the wee ones and there are lots of speakers and music.

Im looking forward to listening to Margot Macdonald and Denis Canavan.

.

You brought the word of "Racisim" into this thread. I take it that your "butchers apron" slight is to our National Standard, the Union Flag. I find this remark very offensive and racist, to me and my family, because many of them including me served in HM Forces.
But I will have a laugh at your lot at your gathering in Princes St Gardens when the biggest Union Flag in the City seen by thousands each day will be flying proudly above you from Edinburgh Castle [lol]

Squidge, many thanks for your offer of protection from the Bruce, but I will refuse politely. I will have the protection, if I need it from a few owld wifies fae Leith, at least they will be real and not playacting.

Well Alex Salmond does seem to be the only politician in possession of any personality. In fact where would the SNP be without him? I guess nowhere really. Back in 2004ish the SNP was the 4th force in Scottish politics, how embarrassing. John Swinney was in charge and popularity was going downhill. Then Salmond was elected leader and things started to change.

I'm convinced that without him the SNP would still be in the political wilderness. Credit to him, he is a fantastic orator, thinks fast on his feet and is the master of the political putdown. But he is a big fish in a small pond and my opinion is that if other Scottish MPs didn't see their main political aspirations being fulfilled in Westminster then Alex would not be able to rule the roost so effectively at home.

Last thing i want to do is start an argument folks. This was simply to advertise our March & Rally and excersise our democratic rights. As per my quote of it being racist, i was referring to "own kind", which is rather offensive. Not that i would expect a non-nationalist or SNP supporter to grasp the context of.
