I've only heard about 5 songs from that list, or there are only 5 i recognise.

Total hate achy breaky heart but i quite liked lady in red, surprised to see it on there.

I think the worst song i've ever heard is Mr Blobby song, god that done my head in. . . . . Oh and the teletubbies song comes in at a close 2nd.

That list is a load of guff! There's quite a few that are decent songs, and there's hundreds that should be in a 'worst songs' list before ANY of them.

No novelty songs like Mr Blobby etc?
No crappy football team songs?
No Emma Bunton?
No Scissor Sisters?
No boy bands?
No Blobbie Williams?
No fakes from reality tv such as Pop Idol?

Having had the misfortune to read the lyrics to "Having My Baby", yes, that song should definitely be on the list. Higher on the list, imho!

Thankfully though, I've not heard of a lot of the songs on the list. I feel very lucky and privileged!

Squidge, I am right there with you....29 without looking up the lyrics! No wonder my memory is getting so bad, the old brain is completely cluttered with useless and annoying information [disgust] .

It's surprising that my all time most hated song "Take A Letter, Maria" by R.B. Greaves is missing. Gawd I HATE that song! catchy little tune about a self important workaholic man, who neglects his wife and all, then hits on his secretary grrrrr don't even get me started on how much I hate that song... Lists like this are always a dead loss. To me they have slagged off some decent songs and picked some real losers as well. Another person might say the same but have different ones in mind for both categories (except Disco Duck, that's surely on every sane person's sh!t list). I definitely think they picked the wrong Whitney Houston one. The Greatest Love of All is surely deserving of the top ten. See, now they've got me at it!

The other day some web site for "men" produced a lsit of the 99 most glamorous "women". While rightly placing the divine Monica Bellucci near the top, they picked mostly a bunch of overpreened teenage wannabees whose only claim to "glamour" was posing for FHM or Maxim.
