Tut tut Alex! Quick to criticise others for falsely claiming expenses but just look at this,

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/mps-expenses/5299733/Alex-Salmond-claimed-800-for-food-on-MPs-expenses-during-recess.html

Maybe one of our local Braveheart Brigade can try to justify what is essentially fraud.

No surprises then. They're all at it. Food is at least more excusable than duck islands... Maybe the poor man just gets hungry a lot.

this article just goes to prove that they live in cloud cockoo land , how many working families can afford 400 per month on just foodif working for a minimum wage of 6.80 for a 40 hour week 272 then out of that they got rent morgage and fuel cost. Perhaps they should try living in the real world for a year

They didn't actually spend 400 a month on food, they just claimed it, didn't have to show receipts or anything.

Now what was it David Cameron said about Jimmy Carr? It isn't illegal but it's certainly immoral or something like that.

Yet here is Scotland's First Minister saying "The claims for food allowances were entirely in accordance with the Green Book rules at the time."

Seems to be a bit of a contradiction there somewhere.

An article from 2009, really? Must be getting desperate.
