Red Kite

this morning in Kirtomy was surprised to see a Red Kite. Not seen them this far north before. Has anyone else seen it and have they been seen before?

Drat was discusing the probability of this with a fellow birder yesterday!
Not sure who the BTO officer is for Sutherland as it would be good to have it recorded or you could go to their Birdtrack site and register it.

there was one on our farm in Kinbrace 2 weeks ago stayed for 2 days when we made silage

Saw 1 a couple or so weeks back at Broubster Leans, may be the same bird travelling the area!
