What a brilliant couple these two are, I don't envy them their lottery win because I think the shock of winning so much would kill me. I am so delighted to see them spreading their good fortune around to charities and this latest offer of paying for Kieran Maxwell's operation for a new leg actually bought a tear to my eye. I saw this Lad carrying the torch and felt really sad when he fell over with it.
I hope the operation brings a new life to Kieran and I hope the Weir's carry on spending their millions on good causes.

If you won that much on the Lottery, would you give any away or would you keep it all to yourself.

If you wanted to help someone or a charity which would you choose!

I would have to start by giving a sizable amount to the SSPCA and a few other animal charities.

Anyway, well done to them. I now expect a huge guffawing article now on Bill Gates, Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet. Their foundation is running at $33bn and counting, feeding and providing medical care for millions.

Did you see this boy running with the torch..(or trying to run should I say).....Did you see where he fell over? I really felt sorry for the wee fella and if the Weirs had not offered to help him I am sure someone else would have done. I would definitely help him if I had won the Lottery!!
I don't care which party the Weirs support, it's their generosity that has really impressed me and helping this boy is the icing on the cake. I don't believe in God and Heaven but if there is a Heaven then these two will definitely end up there.
