Bikes

I have some old bikes I want rid of. I recall some group in Thurso who used to repair old bikes and pass them on to clients. I would rather pass these bikes on than dump them. Does anyone out there know of this group or anyone from the group reading this, please post a reply.

The only people I know that does them up is Homeaid I think they take all the good parts from them and make new ones. Thurso High are recycling too andd they might take old bikes.

Homeaid do take bikes, they are refurbished at a project in Golspie and are shipped back up to the shop to sell to raise funds for the work Homeaid does.

there is a place at wick on the industrial estate that take bikes for kids to do up, im sure if you got in touch with social services they would be able to give you the number, they pick them up there too.
