Pet insurance?

I'm looking into insuring my puppy and was wondering if anyone has any advice, good or bad on any companies they've dealt with? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have my 3 accident prone collies insured with pet plan. I can't fault them at all. They have paid every claim (too many with 3 idiots!!!) My oldest dog is on medication for a heart murmur now, I put a claim in e every month n they pay the vets direct, so it's nice n easy n hassle free for me.

Go for a whole of life plan.
Check the small print..many policies only pay out so much per ailment.
Might seem a lot in the beginning, but, you never know when you might need it!

I've had dogs, cats and horses insured with PetPlan, they've always been brilliant.

Another fan of Petplan here!

Benjy badly injured his leg when he was a puppy and the op and all the treatment came to over £3000. The claim was dealt with efficiently and quickly.

I know that vet surgeries recommend Petplan so worth checking with them to see what their experience is like with other insurance companies.
