Since April's KSD Bushi Seminar held in Wick KSD Martial Arts have hosted a further 2 seminars in Caithness. In June we were honored to have
Hanshi Claudio Artusi and Shihan Rossano visit us from Italy for the second time.
Hanshi Claudio is the Italian president of the World Krav Maga Association and instructed KSD students in technique's from Hakko Ryu Ju jutsu, to Spetsnaz and Krav Maga at the Castletown and Halkirk classes and at an all day seminar at the High School in Thurso.
The photo below shows Hanshi Claudio presenting Sabumnim Vince Tait the flag of his home city Venice he pointed out similarities between the Lions on the KSD badge and his flag and said this reinforced his bond with us.

Earlier this month KSD hosted a Pressure Point Healing Seminar with Sensei Brian Mearns of Club Karate Skye who also has an alternative therapies clinic in Tain.
The seminar was held in the Ross Institute in Halkirk and was well attended by KSD students and students of the Scottish Fighting Arts Society Inverness, to compliment the pressure point healing Sensei Brian taught techniques from Tai Chi and Qigong.

We'd also like to take the opportunity to announce NBA BUDO GATHERING in association with the Scottish Kempo Academy, guest Instructors will be Professor Martin Dixon, 9th Degree Black Belt Ju-Jitsu chairman of the British Ju-Jitsu Association Governing Body and Shihan Sheila Dixon, 8th Degree Black Belt Ju-Jitsu. This seminar will be held in Inverness on Saturday 1st September 2012 and is open to NBA members and invited guests. If you are interested in attending please email Vince Tait (info@kongsoodo.co.uk)

After the summer break KSD Martial Arts (http://www.kongsoodo.co.uk) would like to recruit new members of all ages and abilities, the first 3 classes are free come and have a go, the proof of the puddin is in the eating.
