Accused of knives possesion and assault
A 27-year-old Wick man is facing four charges following an incident in the town on yesterday.
Douglas Peter Wilkie is accused of possessing knives and assaulting police officers.
He made no plea or declaration during a brief, private, appearance, on petition, at Wick Sheriff Court today and was remanded in custody, pending further enquiry.
Wilkie is expected to make a further appearance, next week.
