Would people of Caithness be interested in fund raising for a new shelter for dogs?
As far as I am aware dogs are the hardest to re-home compared to cats and other pets because of the dedication of time and attention they need. Often some dogs (mainly the breeds that are marked as 'dangerous') are in shelter for a year/s. I'm just re-searching in to the idea of another place for the dogs to be exercised fully and trained. A place that focuses on them individually, that brings out there shine! Not as competition for the other providers but as a helping hand.
Somewhere the dogs can get the freedom they need. Insted of being kenneled for most of there days intill somone 'loves them' enough to take them home.
