Does anyone know where I can get this locally? I know that a certain number of garages are allowed to sell it in any given area. I have a vintage vehicle that needs an airing.

Not sure if it is available in filling stations, but you can buy bottles of Lead Replacement to add to the mix when you fill up with unleaded.

Yes, i use this lead replacement in my old vw camper, it's about a fiver, i know the garage by lidl in Thurso sells it (or they used to)

Hi rheghead, I bet thats for that lovely old bike of yours! Ive just had mine converted to unleaded petrol, so dont have to worry about getting it now. Had to have a total rebuild this year ( blew up ) so thought i would have it done at the same time. jan x
