Not a particularly extensive list.

Where are these stations? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_radio_stations_in_the_United_Kingdom#Natio nal_analogue_and_digital_stations)

I agree, what happened to BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, Classic FM, all the Radio Stations you can get on Satelite, ie Heart, Virgin, Capital etc etc. Looks like you are trying to get a certain result.

Maybe thread should have been titled....

"If... following a Nuclear Armageddon... only 4 radio stations survived the apocalypse which one would you choose to listen to?"

And where's the option for "None"? I can't be the only person who never listens to the radio!

I'm too far away for all of those but every time I am home I am horrified by the drivel that comes out of Radio 1.

I find the Orkney super station ticks a lot of the boxes.

I use http://www.last.fm/home, it lets you type in an artist or genre of music whih you like and plays you a selection which it thinks you'll like. I've found loads of new bands I love from using it!
