just watched a seagull crash into a post outside my garden hes lying there now is there anything you can do for them like rspca etc not got a clue seems a sin just lying ere

Check if still alive -then vets - SSPCA will take too long to respond they just don't have the capability to respond to such an urgent situation.

Put it in a cardboard box somewhere quiet and dark...could just be stunned.
Phone the SSPCA the number is on a sticky in pets corner.
Its not the local no ...they will be out of hours now.....and someone will come and get it!
If you take it to the vets, you, will have to pay for it!

Actually vets have a legal duty to "relieve suffering" whether there is an owner to pay the bill or not. This not only covers wildlife but stray animals too.

The vets won't charge you. :) I've taken a few injured wild animals to them in the past.
