Hi Folks

I am searching for more information on my gg grandparents.

At their marriage in 1836 at Wick, Donald MURRAY was a cabinetmaker of Pultneytown and Sophia Polson of Watten.

The cautioner for Donald was William Corner, fishcurer in Wick.

The cautioner for Sophia was William Murray, Innkeeper.

William Murray was the Innkeeper of the Commercial Inn and Hotel, Bridge Street, Wick. I don't know if he was a relative of Donald or not.

I have found that Sophia's parents were Henry POLSON and Isobell MULLIKIN.

I don't have any info on Henry POLSON, Isobell MULLIKIN was from Watten.

I don't anything else about Donald before the marriage except that in the 1861 census they were in London and he gave his birth place as Caithness and his age as 48, therefore he was born around 1813.

I would appreciate any information.

Thanks Steve Spring
