I don't know if any of you are car enthusiasts but I was amazed to hear of a new model that comes out in January that can park itself.
Fantastic!
Apparently you have to take your hand off the steering wheel, press two buttons and the car will park it's self.
Great!
What happens when the electronics go wrong and it flips it's lid, damaging other parked cars?
Dire!
Can it read the parking signs? Permit holders only, limited waiting?
Doh!
How do you explain to the police that it was the car driving itself?
Err!
Will they alter the courts so the car can give evidence from the dock?
Expensive!
"My lud , I rest my case!"

All excellent questions LIZZ ! Saying that, I would still like a chance to drive it . Any car that can park itself, is perfect in my eyes !!!!! Wonder what would be said when you went to take your driving test . Park? No problem, just let me push those buttons !!!

I think such a device is sexist as it will probably disproportionately benefit women more than blokes like.

Are you by any chance insinuating that women have a problem parking cars Rheghead?
Oh so sorry was that your foot I just ran over?
