Is there a local place to buy fresh fish directly from the fishermen rather like you might buy meat at a farmers market?
If so where and when is it?

Is the fish shop at the top of the Black Stairs in Wick not still open or the fish shop in Thurso next to what years ago was Safeway near the florist/fruit shop?

The fresh fish van comes once a week to Latheronwheel. I think it's a Tuesday
