Why don't you just get the wundaweb outta woolies, all you do is iron it on. It's really easy. I use it when my hems fall down and it's great.

Thanks for that, but unfortunately the lady who does the alterations is away until the end of the month. I need my job done next week. Any other ideas - Thurso maybe?

I have been getting alterations done by gail, the dressmaker in elizabeths shop, thurso, for years. There were two dressmakers in Wick but they have stopped now. there is a big shortage of dressmakers in Caithness, a very well paying job for someone to start up.
