Portland Arms

Hello orgers,
We are stuck here in Sussex and rely on you for news,
we are wondering if all is well at the Portland Arms, as I see the money people have closed a lot of Swallow hotels.
We have stayed at the Portland on our visits and love the place.

What part of Sussex are you from? I have relatives in Heathfield. Portland Arms is still going, but i dont think it is as good as it used to be. Went there for luch and the menu was more like a wimpy bar so we came back to wick and went to the Nethercliffe hotel.

We live in a Coastal village south of Chichester but would prefer to live in very rural area in Caithness.
My wifes great grand father was John Munro a Latheronwheel fisherman.
