Can anyone recommed any b & B'S in Ullapool where we could stay before catching the ferry to Stornoway the next day?

The Ceilidh Place. They have bunkhouse rooms as well. one bunk bed for two, table, sink. £32 room only, eat at CP across the road.

We stayed at the Sheiling http://www.thesheilingullapool.co.uk/ - it's not the cheapest but the rooms are excellent, the owners are lovely and the breakfasts are big!

Have stayed at the Morefield hotel many moons ago when a friend worked there.

If you have a look on Trip Advisor it gives a lot of listings for Ullapool, independent reviews and prices with contact details.
