Since the hot topic of the moment is Independance, let me hijack this thread (one thread on Eurovision is more than enough) & ask this question?

If Independence is gained what will happen to the UK free pass straight to the final?
Will Scotland also get it?
Will England hang onto it?
Will it be lost to both?

Plus....
If Engelbert can sing for the UK, who would you like to represent Scotland?
Should it be sang in English or Gaelic?

Important points that I fear shall be largely ignored by both the "Yes" & "No" camps

I am the only one who thinks that Sweden's Winning Song sounds very much like the Song "Gloria" first performed by "Them" and then later by "Van Morrison"

We were pipped at last place by Norway who had only 7 points, haven't seen any of the Eurovision except a bit of the semi's on Friday night, I'm going to have to youtube Englebert's effort just to see how bad it is, it can't be that great getting only 12 points LOL

Van Morrison wrote this song when he was a member of Them
