So Alex rolled out the big celeb's for the launch of the SNP's Yes vote on Friday, Sir Sean Connery, Alan Cumming, Brain Cox. All living Abroad yet they have the cheek to tell us how to vote. Maybe the should have taken note of Ewan McGregor answer. He left Scotland at the age of 17 and wouldn't dare tell people what they should do. Its ok for these guys earning millions it won't affect them.

As seems to be the norm with the SNP no details on TAX,DEFENCE,SOCIAL SERVICES,PENSIONS, just lots of wind and puff(at least it could keep some windmills going) how can they expect one million people to sign up to their petition without knowing any of the details, would you sign for something without reading the small print

Is this referendum not about Independence, rather than future governmental policy?
If it is then leave the debate on policy to the General Election after Independence (if it happens). That is the time & there is no reason to assume that we shall end up with a SNP government post independence.

Alrock, this is not a "poll" like we see on the org or in popular newspapers. Are you really saying there is only one issue? Independence, yes or no?
And all practical issues will be sorted out by the first government of an independent Scotland, whose first job will be to organise elections to elect a first government?
The time to sort out the detail is before we make a decision, not after. But you do have a good point. The SNP is a one trick pony. Surely once it achieves its aim, it will no longer have any political validity.
It will bask in glory for a while and preside benignly over a return to "business as usual" politics in Scotland. And where will we be then? In descending order, Labour, Lib Dem, Conservative, Loony Fringe, Greens.
Why bother at all.
